le petit prince copyright confusion
The Public Domain, a place perhaps not fit for a little Prince, but there we can find him 70 years after the death of his maker....or at least for those outside of France.
Like in fiction, there is a twist. His author died while serving France and to reward him...his creation remains under copyright for another extra years.
to enjoy the freedom everybody else has the French have to wait, which seems like a strange form of nation pride but while they cannot legally touch and play...we are free to do
